So I recently got to second shoot a wedding with the uber cool Mary of Mary Brown Photography. I first met Mary at a wedding workshop last year which was hosted by Christine Meintjes and so it was an absolute treat to second shoot with her.

I woke up filled with excitement and was so happy when I was greeted by blue sky and sunshine, what a treat. I just knew it was going to be an absolutely perfect day. Mary and I met at Tunbridge Wells’s station and together we went to capture the girls getting ready and the Royal Wells Hotel. I could feel the excitement in the room when we arrived and Negar looked absolutely stunning and looked very Grace Kellyesque in her gorgeous veil. She was really calm and collected and really seemed to be enjoying every moment of her day.

Mary and I then hopped in the car to make our way to Cooling Castle Barn. Mary handed me the map book and showed me where we were going, I used to be a legend with a map book, but have seem to become pretty reliant on my iphone, but we made it their in good time and were greeted by Negar and Gareth’s welcoming friends and family. I loved watching how proud Negar’s dad was as he walked her down the aisle, I know what a nervous moment this is for dads and it must be so comforting when they know they are giving their daughter’s “away” to a kind and gentle man. The service was absolutely lovely followed by an absolutely stunning reception and some more tear jerking speeches!

Negar is such a gem and has such an infectious personality and you can see that her and Gareth are just destined for a world of happiness. I want to say a massive thank you to Mary for letting me come along, I had an absolutely super day.
