Wedding Workshop: Aspire Fine Art Wedding – Burton-in-Kendal

Description

So after an intensive two day workshop with Henry Chen and an engagement shoot with my fab couple getting married this Friday, I made my way up to Cumbria for a Fine Arts Wedding Workshop at Aspire Photography Training.  This course was won that I won in a competition which was held for the attendees of the Jane Austen Bridal Shoot back in August and I have been counting down the days for a while now.  What made the trip even more exciting was that I got to make to stay in Preston for a night to visit my good friend and fellow wedding photographer Sam Clayton.

The day of the course started off nice and early with me as I made my trip to Burton-in-Kendal, it was just so mesmerising as the country side is so beautiful and really just took my breath away.  Upon arrival at the training grounds, I started off with a lovely warm cup of coffee and met the other attendees of the workshop and of course Stuart Cooper, who instructed the course.

Stuart started with his approach to weddings and then we went outside for a location shoot with our couple Aimee and Pete, who were delightful enough to model for us for the day.  Even though it was windy, cold and grey we had a fab time and I would really say that the day was a great success.

Beautiful Liesl! I love that first image especially.

And was so wonderful to spend Sunday evening with you – even if we didn’t manage to see “‘luminations”

Told you that train ride to Silverdale would be a pretty one :)
