Nestled in the Peppermint Forest alongside the Wilyabrup Brook lies the breath-taking grounds of Margaret River’s Secret Garden. The garden, which blends classical European style with the beautiful Australian bush, was the perfect setting for our most recent styled shoot and is certainly an idyllic location for an intimate wedding.
The concept of a romantic garden theme wedding inspiration shoot arose from Courtney’s (Willow Lane Creative) love for summer. I mean, who doesn’t love hot days, balmy nights and the amazing seasonal produce that summer has to offer? A soft and romantic colour palette was used and the hues of lavender, peach and lemon integrated with warm wooded tones and pops of gold created a French provincial feel. We also showcased little jars of homemade peach and lavender jam, lemon butter and lemon marmalade as wedding favours.
The beauty of Margaret River’s Secret Garden is that it is such a versatile space, one minute you are surrounded by jaw-dropping hydrangeas and the next minute you are walking though a gorgeous archway of crab apples. Each space complimented the looks perfectly.
It is incredible being part of these shoots and working alongside such talented industry peers. Without them, this shoot would still be a dream instead of a reality. I cannot thank them enough for being involved! We are absolutely thrilled with the results of the shoot and were so happy to see it featured on The Wedding Playbook.
